Press Conference
Lahore Press Club
We addressed the ongoing issue of ineffective and inhumane dog culling practices. I emphasized the need to shift from violence to sustainable, science-backed solutions like TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Release). The conversation focused on how culling not only fails to control stray populations but also perpetuates fear and cruelty whereas TNVR offers a humane, long-term alternative rooted in coexistence, care, and community involvement.

I advocated for the 2021 Animal Birth Control Policy and TNVR as the only humane and legal solution. Sharing examples from my work with Jaandar, I encouraged the community to take part in sustainable change.

Compassion Starts Young
Interactive session
Raising awareness in children is crucial, especially in Pakistan where we are often taught to fear animals, particularly dogs, from a very young age. This fear conditions us to grow up with less empathy and compassion. By engaging with kids early, we have the chance to break this cycle and nurture a generation that sees animals not as threats, but as beings worthy of care and respect.

Faltoo Sey Paltoo and Jaandar organized a protest for animal rights in response to two horrific cases of abuse: one in Karachi, where a dog was thrown from the fourth floor, and another in Islamabad, where dogs were suffocated using plastic bags.
